The Royal Opera House's beloved seasonal classic The Wind in the Willows transfers to the Duchess Theatre this December for the very first time in a strictly limited eight-week season of festive family fun.
Based on Kenneth Grahame's cherished children's book, The Wind in the Willows is ‘a memorable fusion of dance, music, puppetry and mind-boggling design' (What's On In London) brought spectacularly to the stage through Will Tuckett's ingenious choreography.
The exciting adventures of shy Mole, debonair Ratty, wise Badger and hot-headed Toad are vividly portrayed in this ‘heart warming charmer for all the family (Sunday Times). Accompanied by Martin Ward's wonderful score and The Quay Brother's unique designs, The Wind in the Willows is the ‘mini modern classic' (Evening Standard) that takes the magic and colour of the riverbank and weaves it into an ‘utterly fabulous' (Daily Express) theatrical treat.

Unsere 10jährige Tochter bekam zum Geburtstag ein Wochenende in London mit eben diesem Musical. Aus der Pause schrieb sie eine SMS " Mama, das Musikal ist cooool!" Zuhause erzählte sie, wie toll die Vorstellung war. Ein Autor schreibt eine Geschichte und man ist live dabei! Die Schauspieler sind auch im Publikum. Also Tochter und Papa waren begeistert. Also ein Musical für Kind und Kegel. Auch die Abwicklung über ticmate lief super! Einfach und schnell! Vielen Dank!
